These structures are designed for year round use and to reduce energy consumption to a minimum. Using the same principles and components as our highly successful range of garden offices and studios, these buildings use Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to create any size and shape of building. Depending on the level of insulation, heating requirements can be reduced by up to 80% compared with a conventionally insulated building. Double glazed windows and doors are standard with Aluminium sashes requiring no painting and triple glazing as options. There is a choice of over 50 colours for these elements.
External cladding options include a range of timber profiles as well as CPB and other materials. For the roof, cedar shingles, imitation slates manufactured from recycled plastic and rubber membranes all provide attractive and long lasting coverings. Internally, a plaster finish is the norm but other options are possible depending on building use.
