We have designed several structures for artists and craftsmen with specific requirements eg:

• Soundproofing Depending on the level of reduction required we can increase sound absorption using low cost or specialist materials
• Display Areas An editor required one internal wall to be entirely clad in pin board
• Large Walls For large canvases
• Natural Light Important for many activities, we include as much glazing as we can without leading to overheating in the Summer
• Heavy Equipment From bookbinding presses to wood turning lathes, we ensure that the floor is sufficiently strong to support specialist machinery
• Insulation For a glassblower the kiln and flame from the burner provided sufficient heat to ensure a warm environment whatever the weather. We, therefore, focused our efforts on ensuring the space would not overheat in Summer and incorporating flameproof wall surfaces.
